Want to sell more? 7 THINGS you should know about 7th House sales. Consider the "how much can you sell?" challenge. See #7. 1.) We help you sell. We maintain an online registry of retail stores who buy directly from us so that local customers know where to look. This year we also provided you with an order form that will double as an eye-catching, in-store promotional poster. 2.) Planners and astrologically based calendars are inherently different from typical art, wall calendars. Our direct-to-customer sales are well underway by July 1st of the preceding year and some of our retail partners have already reordered before September 1st. People may not buy wall calendars until late in the Fall, but retail planner sales are seriously underway six months before the change of year. 3.) On average, our retail partners sell five Seasons Weekly planners for every one Daily. As a FIRST TIME order, we recommend five Weekly, one Daily, two Seasons on the Wall, two Myth and Magick, in addition to your books and sidelines order. 4.) Unlike art calendars for the wall, Seasons planners/calendars will continue to sell deep into the year at FULL price. 5.) Seasons creates an "evergreen" customer base who will come back year after year and bring friends. 96% of our retail partners increase their orders with us each year. 6.) Don't risk loss of sales because you think your customers will accept a substitute. They won't. If your customers don’t find our products in your store, they’ll keep looking until they do and then they won't be your customers anymore. We get this feedback from direct-to-customer sales almost everyday. If you, as buyer, are not a practicing pagan, you may not recognize that Seasons is the only work of its kind, but your customers do appreciate that fact. If you have a brick and mortar store, you really don't want to train your customer to look online. It could easily become a habit. Just as your customers won't accept an inferior work when they wanted Seasons, they won't take a Weekly if they want a Daily and v.v. 7.) If you sell out completely, you will NEVER know how many units you could have sold or how much money you could have made. The only way to answer that question conclusively is to have one of each title left. Wall calendars should go on sale January 10th or so. Weekly and Daily planners should go on sale between February 1st and March 1st. |
